It is official! The push for Assistant Manager has officially gotten underway. On Monday night, my manager told me that the official requirements for someone to get promoted are actually five 1st generation Corporate Trainers and not four 1st generation CT's and one 2nd generation CT. I've had that many people under me for some time now, which means that we are PUSHING! In this push, the last thing that I need to have happen before I can get promoted to AM is for my team to acquire enough accounts/clients equivalent to $4,000 in total profit for each of the next two weeks. This would show that I have the ability to interview, hire, train, and lead a successful and profitable team. It would also mean that I should be on my way to becoming a manager and running my own office. At the the half way point of week one, my team has done $2,139 in profit already. We are just over the 50% mark after 3 days, with 3 days to go. RIGHT ON TRACK! I'm trying not to think too far ahead, but I'm just really excited about the possibility of getting this all done and accomplishing a major goal before Memorial Day! We shall see what happens.
The other noteworthy thing that happened was my visit to the doctor's office yesterday morning. After meeting with the NP and having an EKG done, they pretty much concurred with Soham Bhai's assessment of my condition being costochondritis. Even though it's been months of this already, there isn't a whole lot that they are going to be able to do for me. The basic precautionary measures will be to continue taking some pain medication and to just try and put some heat/ice packs on it. I just hope it goes away soon, because it's becoming more of an annoyance than anything else now. At least we know that it's definitely not something major and should take care of itself in the next few weeks.
